50th Anniversary Celebration

We made it to 50!

On December 10, 1965, I married my college friend Peter Boldt. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would still be in love after 50 years. But we are! We’re enjoying our large family—four married sons, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The Lord has certainly blessed us.

On December 20, 2015, we celebrated this milestone at the Holiday Inn with over 100 of our family and friends. Wonderful memories!

If you would like to see what kind of life we’ve had, check out my scrapbooks at: https://peterfernboldts50thanniversary.shutterfly.com/

  1. Dear Fern and Peter,

Congratulations! Making it to a golden wedding anniversary reveals God’s faithfulness and the true love of two committed people. May you have many more years together.

I was with my girls and their families for Christmas and New Years (near Baton Rouge, LA.) I really enjoy my grown grandchildren (17-25). We all talked; we laughed; we cried. Ate too much, watched football and Christmas specials, fellowship at church, etc. It was such a blessing!

Back home in Texas (after 3 years it feels like home). Enjoy the young ones here (my brother’s grandkids.) Planning on culling out extra possessions and such this year. You know it is time to do that when you feel like the possessions possess you!

    Prayerfully,

    Vivian
